Ruth’s Chris Steak House Berlin is located within the GlenRiddle Clubhouse and is open to the public. The clubhouse was built in the 1920s and was home to the legendary race horses Man Of War and War Admiral. Much of the original woodwork was restored and is used in the decor of the restaurant. The stall doors are used as table tops in the bar and grill and you can also find some original woodwork throughout the clubhouse and restaurant. Whether it’s a romantic steak dinner for two, an important business meeting, or a private party, Ruth’s Chris Steak House can accommodate your needs. Our Berlin steakhouse provides guests with a warm, comfortable atmosphere.

Ruth's Chris Steak House
This location unfortunately did not live up to the Ruth’s Chris reputation, but to be honest it was my first time at Ruth Chris so I'm guessing this is just what it is . We ordered the ribeye, tomahawk steak, green beans, lobster mac and cheese, lobster bisque, and a Caesar salad.
After placing our order of lobster bisque and salad, we were informed that some sides, specifically the creamed spinach and mashed potatoes, were not available. This was disappointing, especially since steak and potatoes was something we were really looking forward to and is such a staple pairing. That should've been stated up front. The staff gave a false sense that we might be able to get it depending how fast the kitchen worked, but I feel they were just trying to save face.
The tomahawk steak was the highlight of the meal, which, given the price point, was expected. However, the ribeye fell short. I ordered it medium well, but it came out fully overcooked with no pink, dry, and overly peppered.
The sides were underwhelming overall. The lobster mac and cheese was just okay but noticeably watery. The green beans were bland and lacked seasoning. The lobster bisque needed salt to bring out any flavor, and honestly, I’ve had better elsewhere. The Caesar salad was decent, but nothing memorable.
While the staff was courteous and did their best, and we made sure to tip well since the issues weren’t their fault, the overall experience didn’t match the price or expectations. Unfortunately, I’ve had better food and service at less expensive restaurants.

Everything was excellent from food to service. Our steak was cooked to perfection and the sides and drinks were amazing. Our server Darren was very attentive and fun. We had a great Valentine's celebration.

One of the best steakhouses I have found so far in the Eastern Shore. Daron our waiter was very pleasant and well versed in server etiquette. The Filet and Lobster was fabulous, as well as the Sea Bass. Gimlet was a first for me, but was good enough to get a second. Overall, there was nothing I could say negative about the experience. My wife and I will return as well.
