Since we are NOT partying drinkers, we decided to have lunch at the FABULOUS Bad Monkey in West OC. On Wednesdays, they have a 1/2 price special. I made the mistake of ordering their Big Kid's Grilled Cheese. BIG being the operative term!! It is OUT of this world but I could only eat half during lunch so home it came. The only thing missing at the Monkey was the obligatory tomato soup, so I remedied that this evening!! Easy fix!! Their food is excellent, the atmosphere is fun and the prices are right!! Thanks, Linda Yurche and Mike Yurche, for the suggestion!! No matter where we wind up, we always have a great time!!

came for dinner back in august for dinner and this place is SO GOOD!! the fried banana peppers w/ monkey sauce are amazing, the monkey sauce is similar to thousand island dressing but has more of a kick. the burgers were delicious and the fries are shoestring type 😋 i couldn’t recommend a place more!!

Went to this place TWICE while on vacation and its not a HOAX! From service to the Food/Drinks - PHENOMENAL! Shout-out to Mason and the other young lady who's name begins with another "M" who took GREAT care of us. I was amazingly satisfied. Food is fresh and creatively prepared for a comforting experience! This will be one of our regular rotation vacation spots. Can't WAIT to go back!
